Welcome at Uproot8, I am a daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend and career woman, but nothing, but the grace of God, prepared me for the journey I am on now.
Why uproot8? – For I felt like a full grown tree that was pulled out of familiar soil and replanted into strange foreign ground. For it is a process and you feel incomplete , inadequate and lost, at times. The journey is unique, complex, and each story is different.
Each person’s and/or family’s immigration journey is as unique as their fingerprints. This personal blog gives you a glimpse of mine.
